Children's author Michelle Miller grew up in a small town in Upstate NY. The youngest in a family of 4 girls, she often found solace in writing poetry and short stories. As she grew she found her love for musical theater and preformed in many school plays. Michelle attended the local community college for music with dreams of becoming a music teacher. While in college she met her husband, and had 2 children. Her life then took a different direction. She entered the world of Early Childhood Education where she found her true passion, children. After many years as a preschool teacher Michelle became a nanny, and began writing again. Her first published story "A Firefighter's Night Before Christmas" was a work of love for the children at the local fire department, where her husband is a fire fighter. Michelle is currently working on her second book, and looks forward to sharing it with the world.
